Not working for me.
Conkytab worked but not this one.

If run rc3 file first it displays conky but nothing like pop-up happens.

When trying to run conkyadesk it gives lots of errors in many lines.

I am using idesk to draw icons and openbox as wm... so may be that is the issue?

this conky it is little different from Conkytab but u can use the same launchers that u use for Conkytab if this doesn't work..

this config it is made using a launcher like that [link] but it launch conky..

Would be a nice feature for an upstream version... Your set-up can't work with KDE.

I mean, Conky developers should develop something that makes Conky window could do things when someone clicks in certain areas or spaces, something like Rainmeter does... Or in other words, "adding interactivity" for Conky! Well, also they should make Conky config more user-friendly and stop thinking about just text-mode

i'm completely agree about 'adding interactivity' but as we know it is very difficult and it mean completly review the program itself..however i hope something like that will be integrated in conky

about the text-mode i think it is more difficult but it has a lot of possibility to expand the program..right now..
